CTAC, Colonial Car Wash
and
Colonial Oil Exchange Fundraiser

"Due to the generosity and support of owners Holly and Mark Owen, the CTAC continues its valued partnership with Colonial Car Wash and Colonial Oil Exchange located at 33710 Nine Mile Road in Farmington. Thus, we announce the return of a successful fundraiser, the sale of ticket books for Colonial car washes and Colonial oil changes. 50% of all proceeds will support the mission of the CTAC. Information within the ticket books "splash" the community with an awareness of the Coalition's mission to "break the silence" and to address the pain and chaos caused by the underage or illegal use, abuse and addiction of alcohol and other drugs and domestic violence.

The car wash/oil change ticket books, with an actual $40.00 value, are being sold for $20.00. For more information on this fund raiser or to purchase a ticket booklet, contact Estralee Michaelson at 248-489-3408.

Call to Action Coalition Annual October Community Breakfast

Each year the CTAC hosts a Community Breakfast at Vladimir's on the first Friday of October. This is an opportunity for community leaders, business owners, school personnel, city employees and community members to get together and listen to speakers talk on the topics of substance abuse and domestic violence as they relate to our community. It is an excellent opportunity for anyone living or working in Farmington or Farmington Hills to be apprised of how our community is standing up to the problems of substance abuse and domestic violence as well as gain access to resources, brochures, and DVDs from CTAC as well as other organizations devoted to fighting for the health and safety of our community members.

The Breakfast is attended each year by over 300 people from all walks of life but with a single purpose, the welfare of the community and everyone residing within it. We are all committed to "BREAK THE SILENCE" surrounding domestic violence and the abuse of drugs and alcohol. Information regarding the Breakfast and how to order tickets can be found on this website and in the Observer beginning in September. Please mark your calendar now and plan to join us this October.
